Care instructions
Can you put the boxes in the dishwasher?
Yes, you can put all products in the dishwasher.
For the lunch boxes, remove the silicone seal before washing and place separately in the dishwasher (or hand wash).
Can you hand wash the boxes?
Yes, use warm soapy water and wash like you would any other dishes. Remove the silicone seal when washing.
Can you put the boxes in the fridge and freezer?
You can put all containers in the fridge. It is very important to make sure you cool the contents completely before putting it into the fridge, otherwise it will create a vacuum and the boxes will be very difficult to open.
The boxes with silicone lids can also go in the freezer. It is not recommended to put the lunch boxes with the stainless steel lids in the freezer because it can cause the clips to buckle as the contents freeze. Before putting any of the boxes in the freezer ensure the contents are cooled completely.
Can you put the boxes in the microwave?
No, do not put any of our products into the microwave. It is dangerous to put any metal, including our stainless steel boxes, in the microwave because they generate a lot of heat and can ignite.
General product questions
Are the boxes leakproof?
All snack boxes, dip boxes and single compartment lunch boxes are completely leakproof.
The 3 compartment lunch box is externally leakproof but not between the compartments. If you want to add something liquid or something like yoghurt it is recommended to purchase a snack box that fits perfectly inside the lunch boxes.
What materials are your boxes made from?
The lunch boxes are 304 stainless steel and have a food grade silicone seal to make them leakproof.
The snack and dip boxes have 304 stainless steel bases and a food grade silicone lid. .
What are the benefits of stainless steel?
There are so many benefits of using stainless steel for food storage.
- It is a highly sustainable material. It is 100% recyclable and can be recycled endlessly without losing its properties
- It is easy to clean and can be put in the dishwasher
- It is incredible durable and can withstand years of use (when used correctly)
- Stainless steel is a non-toxic and safe option for food storage. There are no concerns about harmful chemicals like BPA leaching into food.
Are the products BPA free?
Yes, all of our products are BPA free.
Is stainless steel recyclable?
Yes, stainless steel is infinitely recyclable. And great news, when it's recycled, it's as good as new, it doesn't lose any of it's awesome properties. In fact, most of the stainless steel products you have (including our lunch boxes) have some % that has already been recycled many times.
If your stainless steel products have reached the end of their life with you (e.g. they've taken a beating and a clasp has broken) reach out to local commercial recycler or scrap metal dealer to see if you can drop them off. We are also working on a way to make this easier in the future so bear with us and watch this space!

Orders and returns
Can I change or cancel my order?
If your order has not been packed you can change or cancel. Please contact us as soon as possible at hello@febox.com.au if you want to change or cancel your order.
Can I return my order?
If you change your mind, you are welcome to return your product within 30 days or order in the original packaging and unused condition. Shipping is at the customers expense.
My product is faulty, what should I do?
In the unlikely event of a faulty product, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue.
Shipping info
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only ship to Australia. If you are interested in our products please fill out this form, we are currently trying to gauge interest from other countries to help us plan international expansion.
How much is shipping?
For orders over $99 we offer free standard delivery Australia wide.
For orders under $99 it is a flat $12 shipping fee in Australia for standard delivery (estimated delivery time 4-8 business days).
For express shipping it is $17 flat rate fee (estimated delivery time 1-4 business days).
How do you ship your products?
We use Australia Post for all deliveries.
How long do orders take to arrive?
Orders are typically dispatched within 2 business days and then are subject to Australia Post delivery times. Current delivery times are estimated to be 4-8 business days for standard post and 1-4 business days for express post.
What should I do if my parcel hasn’t arrived?
A tracking number from Australia Post will be provided once your order is shipped. If there is a problem with your delivery, please reach out to Australia Post with this tracking number in the first instance. If your problem is not resolved, please let us know and we will escalate with Australia Post. Please note that timing and resolution of delivery issues will be dependent on Australia Post.
